Frequently Asked Questions

  • What inspired the creation of Neflhpl Inc.?

The COVID-19 pandemic and a lifelong love of agriculture and natural living by our President and Founder, Anna Barbary.

  • Is this organization for women only?

Per our mission, we aim to empower women. Empowering women starts by giving women the education needed to be self-sufficient in today’s world. We encourage women to follow the do-it-yourself methods and natural living remedies as often as possible.

🌸 The statistics show, that women make up 43 percent of the global agricultural labor force, yet they face significant discrimination when it comes to land and livestock ownership, equal pay, participation in decision-making entities, and access to credit and financial services. This is why we as a nonprofit work closely with local female farmers to help promote their businesses and educate the community about the many products and services available to them by supporting local female farmers.

🌸 The statistics show, that every day in 2020, almost 800 women died from preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth. This is why we as a nonprofit work closely with local doulas and midwives to ensure that women in our community are aware of all of their birthing options and can make an informed decision when it comes to expanding their family with or without traditional medical intervention.

🌸 The statistics show, that today, only 10 to 15 percent of all hunters are women. We want to increase that number, therefore as a nonprofit, we promote nonprofit organizations small and large that mentor and educate women on the fundamentals of outdoor sports such as hunting and fishing, and teach them how to do so safely and professionally. We believe that in today’s uncertain times, women and men need to know how to provide organic, non-manufactured meat for their families.

While our educational meetings are for women and children only, we encourage all people to support our organization through volunteering, donating, and helping us spread the word in person and online.
